Graceful Perseverance: God's Fall Feast Days - 09/26/21

Welcome to this week’s blog. Today I am writing about three (3) of the seven (7) appointed Feast Days of the Lord. Let me first just say; as people of this generation, the last generation, we are to share the knowledge of biblical prophesies that have been fulfilled (Old Testament), and prophesies that have not yet been fulfilled (New Testament), in order that all of us to recognize and comprehend what is yet to come. God has already determined this generation’s ending. . .when He created the beginning (the heavens and the earth) in the very first Book of the Bible, Genesis, the Old Testament.

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. – Isaiah 46:10 (NIV).

We are to understand the times, and the seasons of God’s appointed festivals. These are sacred assemblies established by God, precisely why we should take them seriously. Therefore, our focus and concentration today will be on God’s Fall Feast Days (5-7), each of their definitions, a day and time each year when God instructs us to celebrate, and what to do to prepare for this dress rehearsal. . .for what is to come in the Day of the Lord, also known as the 2nd Coming of Christ or “End Times.” Why should we practice God’s appointed festivals? So, you and I are ready for the Heavenly wedding.

These are the LORD’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times. – Leviticus 23: 4 (NIV).

Fall Feast Days – Proclaimed as Sacred Assemblies of the Lord

#5 – The Feast of Trumpets (aka Rosh Hashanah) Should be a joyful day of blowing the Shofar (sho·far/SHōfər/SHōˈfär), or making a loud noise. We shall not be working this day, but we shall be sharing a meal with family and friends. But most importantly, we shall be giving God (Yahuah), through His son Jesus (Yeshua), praise to His name with our lips and hearts. HALLELUYAH! – 2020 is on September 18 evening to September 19 evening

#6 – The Day of Atonement (aka Yom Kippur) The Day of Atonement is nine days after the Festival of Trumpets. We must observe this day as an official day for Holy assembly, a day to deny ourselves, or give a food offering or present special gifts to the Lord. Atonement is to take action to correct wrongdoings. We are to make a mend with someone through direct action to undo the consequences. Our actions are to do good for others, or some other expression of feelings of remorse on this day. – 2020 is on September 28

#7 – The Feast of Tabernacles (aka Sukkot) Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month.

– 2020 is October 3-9

God instructs all of us to practice these Fall Feast Days each and every year, and is applicable to all generations. Why, so we are “ready” for His return. If we are not prepared, and have not gained this knowledge, when this day arrives in the blink of an eye, His return will be like a thief in the night. If you reject this knowledge, and refuse to prepare, you will not be ready. You will be caught off guard. You will be filled with fear and anxiety. Chaos, confusion, anarchy, pandemonium, and disorder will overcome the earth, but only for those who chose not to take this seriously, hence you will not be raptured or lifted into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

Consider the books of the Bible as our “life manual” leading up to end-times. The Fall Feast days are also included in our life manual. God is a very detailed God, so that His children make no mistake in the importance of following His instructions. Many of us go to and fro in our daily lives, without any consideration or knowledge of what I am referring to when I write about God’s appointed times, the 7 Appointed Times, God’s Holy days on God’s calendar (Lunar calendar), not man’s calendar.

The following table provides the transition to give you a better idea of what to expect and when. This knowledge prepares us to be ready, to watch for the signs and signals, and proclaim, and practice these divine appointments. We do not know the day or the hour of the Lord’s return. You must know by now, we are the last generation, therefore we will not pass until we’ve seen all these things fulfilled.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. – Matthew 24:36 (NIV).

Feast of Trumpets Scripture:

1st Corinthians 15:52 (NIV) - In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

Leviticus 23-24 (NIV) – Two chapters of the Bible, please reference your Bible to read these, as they are quite lengthy.

The Day of Atonement Scripture:

Matthew 25:31 (NIV) – When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.

Leviticus 23:27 (NIV) – The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present a food offering to the LORD.

Feast of Tabernacles Scripture:

Psalm 132;11 (NIV) – The LORD swore an oath to David, a sure oath he will not revoke: “One of your own descendants I will place on your throne.”

Revelation 19:15 (NIV) – Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.

Leviticus 23-24 (NIV) – Two chapters of the Bible, please reference your Bible to read these, as they are quite lengthy.

If you belong to the Lord (Yashua), these feasts belong to you! This a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD—a lasting ordinance” – Exodus 12:14 (NIV).

These are things to come, a dress rehearsal for His return. This is a time of repentance, a Holy convocation of what’s yet to come, His 2nd Coming. The last blast is the last trumpet, during the Feast of Trumpets, before we are to ascend into Heaven.

Recognize the Lord's Divine Appointments. Once you gain this knowledge, you will be ready. You will be attuned, and watch for the signs and signals. You will then understand the importance of these divine appointed seasons. Many believe this dress rehearsal is for the Jews only, and not the Gentiles. This is a false teaching, as God, throughout His word, is speaking to ALL OF HIS CHILDREN / ALL GENERATIONS, as a lasting ordinance! These sacred festivals are for the Israelites, and the Gentiles alike. Not one nation, tribe or people have been singled out as God’s children, we are all His children.

This is God’s command for all generations to come, a lasting ordinance before His return.

Blessings until next week, Debra Pauli Unstoppable Believer
