Welcome to this week’s blog. Today I am writing about my new forthcoming book. For those of you who don’t know me or haven’t followed me over the years; I am a self-publishing author and blogger from California. As an entrepreneur, I received my first gift of writing in 2003, and then my gift of blogging in 2010.
My latest work is my forthcoming 8th book, and the weekly blogs I post; both which are great works beyond what I ever imagined. In the past sixteen, almost seventeen years now, I have evolved into a professional “faith-based author and blogger.” Again, another example of everything in God’s timing, not my own. Three years ago, God showed me a vision of my next book project. But with everything in God’s timing, and not our own; the time to share with you the knowledge contained in this book is now.
And, let’s not lose sight of whose good works this truly is accredited. The books and the blogs that I create are by the hands of God, not my own mind, flesh or pride. In all that He wills me to do, I glorify my Father who is in heaven.
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. - Matthew 5:16 (NIV).
Jesus said,
Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. – Revelation 1:19 (NIV).
And so, we did! In Day of the Lord, we (my husband and I) take you through biblical prophecy, biblical prophets, martyrs and disciples, God’s truth. For more than four years now, Tom and I have had a steadfast dedication to biblical prophecy, not solely for our own knowledge and understanding, but to fulfill the assignment delivered to us as a result of our own life journeys that have undoubtedly led us to this wonderful life of worship. In “Day of the Lord,” we show you undeniable evidence from biblical scripture and scholars, the timeline and the fulfillment of events that have already taken place, and what is yet to come in the last generation.
We truly believe we have been empowered by the Holy Spirit (our teacher and helper): the very power of the living God within us to do what we’ve been called to do. Apart from the Holy Spirit, we would have never been able to accomplish the task set before us without a personal relationship with the Lord our God. He equips us with the mystical word of God, scripture at our fingertips, and ingrains His teachings into our hearts. Therefore, we rose to this assignment with great enthusiasm.
In this generation, Tom and I have been called to duty as “end time” saints. What are “end time” saints? Referring to biblical prophecy, our generation is the last generation before the “Day of the Lord.” This means Jesus is returning (2nd Coming) to bring His faithful people into eternity. He will reign over the heavens and the earth, and will make all things new according to the biblically foretold Great Tribulation. Therefore, John 14:10 said it best and we proclaim the same to each of you.
The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the
Father, living in me, who is doing his work. – John 14:10 (NIV).
I truly believe we are only vessels to which the Lord is using to reach each one of you - one reader at a time. Please note, my books and blogs are always supported and backed up by scripture taken from the New International Version (NIV), New King James Version (NKJV), and the English Standard Version (ESV) Bibles interchangeably.
With great passion and enthusiasm, my 8th book will be available to you in the upcoming weeks. If you are excited to receive your copy of “Day of the Lord,” (hot off the press), go to my website: www.thewitnesstoday.com and order your signed copy today.
